This planet,
a barren desert with large rocky hills, was where SG-1, SG-3, SG-12 and
two Tok'ra travelled to after learning of a possible rebel Reetou attack
on Earth. The Stargate address was provided by 'Charlie' after he came to
the SGC with a message from the Central Authority of Reetou. Expecting to
find a few rebel Reetou the teams discovered hundreds, possibly thousands
of Reetou rebels located there. The rebels will launch their attacks on
numerous planets from this one in order to wipe out any possible Goa'uld
hosts so as to, in turn, wipe out the Goa'uld themselves. |

REESE'S HOMEWORLD

Episode Menace
It was on
this planet that SG-1 found Reese - the android who created the first
generation of Replicators. Reese created the 'toys' to play with but when
the local people began to fear her she taught them to defend her and make
more of themselves. Reese was convinced to shut down but the Replicators
went on to destroy her planet and kill all the local inhabitants, leaving
the planet soon after. |

Episode Summit | Last Stand | Fail Safe
Revanna is
just one of the planets used by the Tok'ra as a base, apparently after
Vorash was destroyed by the supernova. Anubis' forces, lead by Zipacna,
discovered the location of the Tok'ra base and began bombing the planet,
prompting the Tok'ra to evacuate. SG-1 again travelled to Revanna to
obtain the cargo ship Daniel and Jacob left there in order to land on an
asteroid heading for Earth. |

ROGUE NID BASE

Episode Shades Of Grey
This base is
situated off-world and was home to the secret operations of the NID led by
Colonel Maybourne. When Jack went undercover as a traitor to the SGC, he
went to this planet to determine the runnings of the operation, finding
that all stolen technology went through this base before it or plans of
the device went to Earth. The planet is desert-like with large rock
formations and constant clouds overhead. The base appears to be
incorporated into the ruins of some sort of temple which looks to have
been abandoned some time ago. |

Episode Emancipation
A wooded
planet, P3X-593's indigenous culture is of Mongol descent, who according
to their legends, were brought to this world to protect them. It appears
that there was once a temple surrounding the local Stargate that's long
since fell to ruins. A feudal society, the tribe nearest to the Stargate
is known as the Shavadai ("People of the Steppe"). The culture has an
extreme view on women, keeping the females shrouded and forced into strict
obedience, customs put in place long ago. Women have since been
emancipated on the planet in honour of Sam's stance on the issue. |

Thor's
homeworld appears to be comprised of advanced cities with numerous ships
hovering above. Thor arrived at the SGC asking for help to defend this
planet from three Replicator-infested ships. Sam travelled to the planet,
where the Asgard were completing the O'Neill, a highly advanced ship
designed to battle the Replicators. Sam's plan saw the O'Neill destroyed
along with the Replicator ships, thus saving Thor's homeworld. |

Episode The Serpent's Venom
This was
originally the homeworld of the Tobin, an advanced civilisation
originating from Phoenician Earth. Even though the Tobin civilisation has
been extinct for several centuries, their legacy includes a vast minefield
around their planet, designed for protection. After learning that an
alliance between Apophis and Heru'ur was to occur in the system SG-1
travelled there with Jacob by Teltac ship. After reprogramming one of the
mines to make Apophis think Heru'ur was attacking, Apophis' fleet
uncloaked and Heru'ur's ship was destroyed. |

Episode Enigma
Tollan was
once the home planet of a technologically advanced species known as the
Tollans. When the Tollans began exploring, they found one of their
neighbouring planets, Serita, to be inhabited and offered them a device
that would produce unlimited productive power. Instead, they used it make
war and destroyed their planet. The destruction of Serita knocked Tollan
out of orbit, causing major disasters and excessive volcanic activity.
SG-1 first met the Tollans when they were evacuating their planet for one
outside the Stargate system. The Stargate has since been covered by lava. |

Two Fires
Tollana was
the new home world for the technologically advanced race known as the
Tollan. When their last planet was destroyed by volcanic activity, they
were relocated with the Nox. Since then the two races worked together to
construct a Stargate to Tollana. The planet previously had numerous
concrete structures around the Stargate and was protected by a grid of ion
cannons. Tollana was destroyed by Anubis' forces after SG-1 prevented the
Tollan from sending destructive weapons through the Stargate to Earth. |

This was the
planet to which Apophis recruited many humans from other planets in order
to train them to one day infiltrate and defeat the Tauri. SG-1 encountered
the planet on a routine mission where the humans were engaged in war
games. SG-1 saw that the humans impersonated Earth military dress and
training regimes in order to know the enemy. SG-1 convinced the trainees
that Apophis would not return to lead them in battle and so they returned
to their home planets through the Stargate. |

Daniel
witnessed the Unas Chaka being captured and taken through the Stargate to
this planet. Generations ago, the Unas served the Goa'uld and enslaved the
local population through terror and oppression. When the Goa'uld left this
planet, the humans learnt to use the weapons and turned on the Unas - the
Beast Wars. The Unas then became the slaves and have been bred for many
years on this planet. The Unas have since turned on their masters with the
help of Chaka, possibly starting another war. |

The Velonan
civilisation may be 3 000 years old but the advanced weapon found on the
planet appears to be only 400 years old. Apparently the Velonans had a
similar technological level to Earth until the planet came under attack
from the Goa'uld. Orlin, an ascended alien, communicated to them the
knowledge they would need to construct a weapon to defend themselves.
After defeating the Goa'uld, the Velonan people began to use it for
conquest, forcing the ascended aliens to wipe out the Velonan civilisation. |

It was on
Volia that SG-1 encountered the Aschen. Volia was once home to a thriving
urban civilisation of Volians with a technology level similar to 1900
North America. However, a flu epidemic killed millions of Volians and when
the Aschen arrived in ships they offered assistance. Volia then joined the
Aschen Confederation but when they discovered that the vaccine caused
sterility, society ended and the evidence of the Volian captial was
buried. In the 200 years since, the Volians have become a simple agrarian
people of thousands. |

Vorash is a

Upon arrival
on Vyus, SG-1 found a level of technology consistent to Earth's early
industrial period (c. 1900s). The entire population was experiencing
memory loss and became young over night because of a failed experiment
with an enhanced version of a chemical pesticide known as Dargol. Vyan
society was on the verge of collapse with industry and agricultural
production at a stand-still. Apparently Linea, the Destroyer of Worlds,
travelled here from the SGC and caused the accident. With the help of
Ke'ra/Linea, SGC personnel were able to come up with a cure for the
amnesia which was then distributed to all the Vyan people. |

WATER PLANET

Episode Watergate
This was the
seventh planet travelled to by the Russian Stargate program. The only
lifeforms on the planet are microscopic organisms that may look like water
or are part of the water itself. It is believed that the energy emitted by
these organisms kept the Russian Stargate connected to the planet. Ruins
lie on the floor of the planet indicating that it was not always
submerged. The Russians collected a sample of the water but it was
released and infected some of the personnel, who travelled to the planet
and drowned. |

has a strong Chinese influence as it is home to the System Lord Yu. Daniel
travelled to this planet in order to replace Yu's servant Jarren and
attend the summit of the System Lords. Teal'c has also travelled here as
the leader of a mission for Kytano. Convinced Yu's forces were weak,
Teal'c lead a mission doomed to fail, was captured and later released
after being told the truth behind Kytano |
