Season Two
2.01
The
Serpent's Lair
Led
by Apophis and Klorel, a fleet of Goa'uld warships launches a surprise
attack on Earth. The SG-1 team uses the Stargate to board an incoming
enemy ship with enough explosives to destroy the entire force. But
the team's unexpected capture turns their objective into a suicide mission
and when Daniel is fatally wounded, Jack is forced to leave him behind.
2.02
In
The Line of Duty
On
a daring mission to rescue victims of a Goa'uld attack, Sam Carter's body
is taken over by a Goa'uld. When Carter and the SG-1 team return
to Earth, an alien assassin follows to destroy the rebel Goa'uld, Jolinar
of Malkshur, within Carter. Can Jack O'Neill eliminate the Goa'uld
without killing her? Or will the assassin kill them both?
2.03
Prisoners
The
SG-1 team inadvertently helps a desperate criminal and is charged as an
accessory to murder. Sentenced to life imprisonment and banished
to a desolate, brutal penal colony called Hadante, they strike a deal to
escape with the aid of the powerful and enigmatic Linea, known to the other
prisoners as Destroyer of Worlds.
2.04
The
Game Keeper
Exploring
a strange and beautiful garden in a distant world, the team members are
trapped, knocked unconscious and awakened to find themselves reliving the
most pivotal, traumatic moments of their lives. A mysterious Keeper
explains that it is all a virtual-reality type game. Forced to watch
friends and family dying, SG-1 only want to escape.
2.05
Need
Daniel
Jackson saves the life of a beautiful princess, but his heroics cause the
SG-1 team to be taken prisoner. When he is badly injured in their
escape attempt, Princess Shyla uses the sarcophagus to addict Daniel in
order to seduce him. As Daniel struggles to free his friends, his
addiction and his romance with Shyla could doom them all.
2.06
Thor's
Chariot
Jack
O'Neill and his team return to Cimmeria, where they had previously destroyed
the planet's primary defence against the Goa'uld. When the planet
is attacked by Heru'ur, O'Neill and Teal'c lead the people in a counter-strike
while Daniel Jackson, Carter and Gairwyn search for the power of the fabled
Thor's Chariot only to find Thor himself.
2.07
Message
In A Bottle
A
seemingly harmless orb is brought back to the SGC base from a dead world.
The strange device infects Jack O'Neill with an alien organism which soon
begins to spread. When Carter's attempts to halt its rapid growth
fail, Daniel Jackson realises that the only chance to save Jack is to let
the organism control him in order to communicate.
2.08
Family
Teal'c's
son, Rya'c, is kidnapped by and brainwashed by Apophis and led by Master
Bra'tac, the SG-1 team travel to Chulak to save him. They are
shocked to discover a world turned completely upside down. And when
Rya'c is recovered he denounces his father and helps to capture the team,
forever preventing their return to Earth.
2.09
Secrets
The
entire Stargate project is threatened when a reporter declares he will
reveal to the world the mysteries of the top-secret portal. Jack
O'Neill attempts to stop him while Sam Carter discovers that her estranged
father is dying of cancer. On Abydos, Teal'c and Daniel Jackson find
Sha'uri, pregnant with the child of Apophis and Ammonet.
2.10
Bane
During
an attack by giant insects, Teal'c is stung and implanted with a virus
that causes him mutate into a terrifying and destructive creature.
Taken by Col. Maybourne and the NID for experimentation, Teal'c escapes
and finds refuge in the city, where Ally, a streetwise young girl, tries
to help him. For Teal'c, time is running out.
2.11
The
Tok'ra Part 1
Carter
is mesmerised by a dream in which she sees herself as Jolinar, the rebel
Goa'uld who briefly inhabited her body. The SG-1 team travel to a
desert world where they find the Tok'ra, who fight against the tyranny
of their fellow Goa'uld. SG-1 are imprisoned for their own safety
and Carter's dream turns into a nightmare when she learns her father is
near death.
2.12
The
Tok'ra Part 2
With
the oldest and wisest of the Tok'ra dying and any hope of an alliance dying
with her, Sam Carter comes up with a daring plan. If her father Jacob
becomes host to Selmak, both will be saved. Hosts are the one thing
Earth can offer the suspicious Tok'ra. As Jacob and Selmak make their
choice to blend, the base is attacked by the Goa'uld.
2.13
Spirits
When
the SG-11 team does not return from its mission, Hammond attempts contact
and Jack O'Neill is injured. Carter leads the SG-1 team through the
Stargate to find SG-11 and negotiate with the mystical natives for a precious
mineral. After they are captured, the team are led by the friendly
Tonane to the great spirits of his people.
2.14
Touchstone
A
climate-controlling device is stolen from the planet Madrona and the SG-1
team is accused of the theft. Whoever took the device has the ability
to disrupt Earth's climate. With Madrona wracked by storms, Jack
and Daniel find a second Stargate active on Earth and the team's investigations
take them to Area 51, the NID and Col. Maybourne.
2.15
A
Matter Of Time
A
black hole swallows up the SG-10 team before the SGC's eyes. The
black hole's gravitational pull grows stronger, threatening to destroy
Earth through its Stargate. While Carter struggles to find a solution,
Jack O'Neill is forced to reunite with an old Special Ops antagonist in
a desperate attempt to close off Earth's Stargate.
2.16
The
Fifth Race
When
Jack O'Neill gazes into a mysterious alien viewing device, his brain is
infiltrated by a strange intelligent force. Daniel Jackson is sure
that the dying, increasingly isolated Jack now understands the mysteries
and origins of the Stargate. As Jack's only means to communicate,
can Daniel recover the information and save his friend's life?
2.17
Serpent's
Song
The
SG-1 team's mortal enemy, Apophis, is being hunted by the enigmatic Goa'uld
Sokar and throws himself at Jack O'Neill's mercy. Tortured and close
to death, Apophis proposes a deal: revealing all he knows about the Goa'uld
in return for a new host body. For Daniel Jackson, Teal'c and the
others, this is a deal with the devil.
2.18
Holiday
The
alien Ma'chello traps Daniel Jackson with his body-swapping invention,
steals Daniel's body and escapes to Earth. As Daniel lays dying in
Ma'chello's ailing body, Jack and Teal'c attempts to help him result in
them swapping bodies too. Can they find Ma'chello and convince him
to return to his own body in time to save Daniel?
2.19
One
False Step
On
a routine reconnaisance mission, the SG-1 team discover a civilisation
of friendly, innocent aliens, but suddenly the aliens begin to fall ill.
A plague, somehow caused by the team, sweeps across the planet and Jack
O'Neill and Daniel Jackson are infected too. Can the team save themselves
and an entire civilisation?

Show
and Tell
A
young boy mysteriously appears at Stargate Command and pleads for help,
claiming that the Goa'uld are chasing him to find his race of invisible
beings. But the SG-1 team is duped as the invisible aliens actually
plan to destroy the Goa'uld by eradicating all potential human hosts -
and the invasion of Earth has already begun.
2.21
1969
A
solar flare sends the SG-1 team back in time to 1969 where the US military
command suspects them of espionage. With the help of Lt. George Hammond,
Jack O'Neill and his team escape and are aided by two flower children on
their way to Woodstock. Can they ever return to the present again?
The answer lies in a solar flare.
2.22
Out
of Mind
Jack
O'Neill awakens in a futuristic world to be told he's been frozen for 79
years and that all his friends are dead. He is questioned about the
Stargate programme but then is shocked to discover it's a set-up. He finds
Daniel Jackson and Carter and attempts escape from the Goa'uld stronghold,
only to be thwarted by the return of an old enemy, Hathor.
